The Uncomfortable Truth

COLLEGE BALL

Written By Barristers

Jay Bilas and Sonny Baccaro have spoken out against the NCAA systemic injustice targeting prominently young, black football and basketball athletes. My feature film, “COLLEGE BALL,” addresses the racial financial inequality. You can view the short film and the synopsis of this progressive film on it’s accompanying website, www.CollegeBallMovie.com.

There have been plenty of iconic films that open up our views on racial inequality such as “Roots,” “Django
Unchained,” “Armistad,” and “12 Years a Slave.” “COLLEGE BALL” touches on a subject less spoken about in our
never ending struggle for equal rights. This film exposes the truth behind college sports and exposes the fact that
the rights of some, simply do not matter in America.

The NCAA is run by Southern Republicans who fought against liberation of slavery because of the many economical advantages slavery afforded them. Today, the NCAA is still an economic advantage to the South, because through college sports they continue to enslave, control, and profit tremendously off black talent in America.

99% of college coaches are white and television networks are owned and operated by wealthy, white conglomerates
who profit millions off the backs of hardworking, predominantly black, young football and basketball athletes.

Young black athletes are lured by the pretense of education and a brighter future.. A common misconception is
that these college systems are “saving” promising black athletes by “protecting, helping, and educating” them, most
of whom have little parental guidance or positive role models to immulate.. Truth is, the NCAA coaches are using these individuals to enrich their own programs and to line their own pockets. Their agenda is covered by the illusion that they are giving young black athletes a new beginning, without disclosing the many benefits they themselves reap from each and every young player they’re able to recruit. True love is the love of giving and not the love of receiving. Players love you when they are playing you.

During the colonial era, when other countries were poorly informed, Britain used similar protection tactics to rip
off several countries. Tell me, how do you protect someone by denying them American Free Enterprise? How does
one protect another by not putting money in a trust fund for them? More often than not, these NCAA board members and coaches have trust funds for their own children. How can you call this protecting someone when you are making millions of dollars off their labor and restricting them from making their own money?

Black people need to rise up and not allow their most gifted athletes to be used and exploited in the name of
education. The NCAA is running a socialist system in a capitalistic nation. The Southern Republicans are blatant
hypocrits; they’ve declared President Obama a socialist, all the while they are behind the NCAA social welfare
system.

Additionally, Southerners will never allow black coaches to make millions of dollars from their NASCAR athletes.
Black activists are dropping the ball here, because the NCAA must first benefit off Black talent, before the athlete earns a penny off their own talent.

In Europe, soccer is a popular sport. However, the families of soccer players do not allow their children to be exploited. That is the reason they have soccer academies. Professional soccer teams scout, recruit, and develop
their own players. Unlike the NCAA’s systemic practice where American Free Enterprise, Labor and Antitrust Laws
are clearly violated.

The financial income discrepancies between blacks and whites are shameful. The average white coach makes 3 to 8
million USD dollars per year while their athletes receive $50,000 in tuition relief at best. In addition the parents of the athletes must relinquish their right to American Free Enterprise. College is important, but not at the expense of one’s God Given talents. Especially not at the cost of sacrificing one’s American Free Enterprise and labor rights. College is not for everyone, and it isn’t a guaranteed life-changing opportunity.

Considering that the NCAA is a multi billion dollar industry, I argue that there should be a trust fund for the 99% of college athletes that never make a living playing professionally. Life has no boundaries. As well there should not be boundaries for college athletes. Other industries that are dominated by whites do not have boundaries.

NO BOUNDERIES FOR OTHERS!

Nascar athletes, actors, baseball and other industries dominated by whites can earn an income without educational requirements. Football and basketball industries that are dominated by black players are told they must go to college before being able to make a living off their natural abilities and talents. The white dominated industries like baseball can go pro at the age of 17! Arguably, this is oppression and denial of opportunity is racism.

Blacks like Charles Barkley, who support the NCAA system, are the kind of black Africans who sold their fellow
countrymen as slaves. Donald Trump refers to blacks as poor. The majority of mother’s of college athletes are referred to as welfare Queens. All the while their sons are earning millions for their white coaches and the white owned television networks. The myth that staying in school on a football or basketball scholarship makes one better, is a lie and will remain a lie, because (1) sports fundamentals remain the same in elementary school, high school, AAU, POP Warner. NCAA, NFL, or NBA. Coaches might have different play books, but the fundamentals are the very same. I have a soccer background; I was 16 years old and in high school when I first practiced with a professional soccer team, everything Coach Peter was teaching me, were the fundamentals I had already heard since I was 8 years old. Each year, about 10 players leave school early, and about 3000 stay in school for 4 years, and not one of the 3000 will ever earn a penny playing professionally. The truth is because there is opposition to a sporting contest, coaches do not matter after 17 years old. You can learn a coach’s playbook or offense, but the fundamentals are the same from elementary to college and even professionally. If a player lacks talent to read the field or court to circumvent the opposition, then no coach can change that player.

Coaches do not matter. The truth is, most people see racism as a conscious hate, racism is bigger than that. Racism is an inherited system of social and political hypocrisy set up by whites, generations ago to continue working on behalf of whites at the expense of others. Naturally, human beings will not willingly forfeit what is beneficial to them.

Never Ignore Any Form Of Racism

Tim wise says whites had a 400 year head start. This is why I respect Tim Wise, he speaks the truth. I also speak about this all the time. This illusion that white people have that they pulled themselves up by the bootstraps is bullshit. Majority of their parents where basically giving houses by the government while blacks were denied it. After the great depression the white middle class was created by the government through government assistance. LISTEN
